OK, some time back I started to make my own site- on my hobby, collectiong, and well puting together military uniforms- staring with Uncles and Friends uniforms that had been given to me...then I got absorbed into some of the more odd maybe then groups and all the differnt groups of the German Wehrmacht, and SS Forces of World War Two. Than now, and as of recent-I got hooked on this American-now, Vietnam Era Uniforms! in large the Infantry Special Forces and Helicopter Crewman! Now the uniforms are put into verious files on the site, 36 many files-to a page, there was 3 pages last year. The site now consists of 7 Pages, some 217 Files!, of those 71 are American Uiniforms, and of those I have now, 16 Files on Army Helicopter Troops, 1 with the Air Assault Troop who got off the birds....13 if Army, Vietnam, Ground Soldiers, couple 3 of Medivac alone! so.....7 of MACV, Advisors and Special Forces trypes, another of the ARVN the fought with.......well...my point is I used to be afraid folks would go how come he likes German WWII Uniforms, Which I do with a passion, but there is so much other stuff too, a Ton of American in there, Mostly Vietnam Era, but still 11 files cover the US. Amry Ground Forces of WWII, more of the Army Air Forc, WAAC's, and WASPs female pilots,a bit of  Engish WWII, WWII Italians, lets see, well there are 6-7 Cold War, American Soldiers Uniforms...geeze, and some stuff worn in movies.....but the point is the site has grown and litterally doubled in the last year, or two! If your interested in American and German, and the historical period of say 1939 to 1980.....ther is a lot to see here....and each file I'm talking about has 2 the 4-5 uniforms presented in them to boot! Hope you enjoy checking them out, and its not to hard to dig threw them to find what your looking for.

These are from a couple years ago, there on the site but shows some of the special stuff the helicoptercrewman were issued, the helmets and chicken plat body armor, and the fire retardent light weight uniform.

Check it out. Mark.

The site's size has doubled in less than a year! Originally this site was based around my on going 'German Malitary Collection', that is near all WWII stuff, but realizing after a lot of that was in place, I had piles of American uniforms gathering up as well in the corners of the storage, and what had really started my uniform collection was a dozen uniforms my friends and family had served in, given to me threw wills, or guifted to me in my youth because of my intrest in their service etc, a neibor's dress white uniform from WWII, left to me in his will! It really opened my eyes years later- when I looked up what the different awards and decorations on the chests represnted! I was shocked, and amazed at the same time, my mile manored, quiet, neibor Dave Davison, was a War Hero, he had served in the Philipines, and trewout the pacific, then in then fought the Germans, was wounded, and earned a Bronze Star, and Distinguished Service Cross, of course the CIB, a badge missing on the from the breast pocket, I think was a Pentigon Sevice - or Joint Chiefs insignia, likley lost in the back yard when I was a 10 year old kid! and he never said a word to anyone about it all - but I remember his wife (a WWII Army Nurse) and his pictures in the basement, they showed him-with McCarher, and some other high ranking officers adorning the walls he had been his aid! that lit my fuse and so, The US stuffgot added, most, now being of the Vietnam / Cold War era, Hope I did all the soldiers, and sailors and airman right, and represented correctly. Enjoy, and hope it adds to you resurch of these people who, would rather not talk about it-but diserve to have there service told. Mark Stone.
